CoolPeel is a fractional CO₂ treatment that resurfaces the outer layer of skin — smoothing texture, evening tone, and reviving radiance — with virtually no downtime. Unlike traditional CO₂ treatments that require extended recovery, CoolPeel delivers the skin-renewing benefits of laser resurfacing while keeping heat exposure low, so your skin responds with renewal rather than trauma. You’ll notice a visible improvement in clarity, smoothness, and glow after a single session, with a typical course of 3–5 treatments recommended for cumulative results. Downtime is 1–3 days. The results are transformative — a meaningful, lasting improvement in skin quality that compounds over time. Recovery is longer than CoolPeel, typically 5–7 days, and a thorough consultation is required before treatment. Not every client is a candidate, and Ana will be direct with you about whether this is the right step for your skin.

What to expect.
Every CO₂ resurfacing treatment at Mineral begins with a thorough consultation — reviewing your skin history, current concerns, lifestyle, and downtime availability before recommending a treatment level. CoolPeel appointments are typically 30–45 minutes with 1–3 days of mild redness and flaking. DEKA Peel appointments are longer and require a dedicated recovery window of 5–7 days. Both treatments are performed exclusively in-spa at our Larkspur location. Ana will walk you through your personalised aftercare protocol before you leave, and a follow-up is included to assess your results and plan next steps.
